‘<33chimes’ is a video performance & electroacoustic composition, comprised exclusively from processed recordings of windchimes & heart monitors.

Inspired by Lynette Yiadom-Boakye’s ‘Condor and The Mole’, the poetic element of ‘<33chimes’ reflects on the power of childhood memories as a timeless & untouchable source of refuge.

In the video, I attempted to ‘find’ the words of the poem within the pages of an unconnected text, visualising the presence of memory beyond the original space-time of conception.
